Hello everyone! Blaze here to talk to you about the particle command!

Now we all know that spawning particles is a little bit difficult, but for those that just want to get all the struggles over with the command, I will show you how to use the particle command, the easy way!!! :D

Now. What you do first is use the /give command and  type or use the auto type to type out /give <Username> minecraft:command_block

It should give you a command block. Then what you want to do is place it anywhere, preferably on the ground rather than in a hole, because you wont see the particles in the ground.

Now right click on the command block and type /summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ (The ~ is so you can auto-type your location)

Warning: If you hate the laginess soo much, go into your video settings and select Particles: Decreased. Trust me, it will slow your world and gameplay down like a turtle...well turtles are pretty fast sometimes. Lets say...hmm....idk XD but back to this lol

Now there are different ways to this command. From what I know is you can:

  • Change the swirly particle's colors
  • Change the particles itself
  • Change how big you want the cloud
  • Change how much time you want the cloud to last

Let's start off with the radius.

/summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ {Radius:#}

In the Radius section, you can put how big you want the cloud to be. ake sure it is all connected. If it is not, then the whole command wont work. For example:

/summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ {Radius:100}

Sencondly, the Duration. Duration is very important in this command, because if you put too much duration like the person that did 100000000 and would stop the same day, well you will have to be on the game non-stop for it to go through its thing just to stop. So I recommend between 40-5000. For example:

/summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ {Radius: #,Duration:1000}

Make sure again that the number and the colon is connected and also the R in Radius and D in Duration are capitalized or else the command WILL NOT work!

Now the color.The color for the cloud is soo weird that you will have to go through numbers just to get your desired color. Of course you can try color codes on the internet but I don't know honestly. Buuut, this part of this command is strange. If you put a random #like 998465, then it might be purple or red. It really varies and some luck will probably get you the right color. For example:

/summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ {Radius: #,Duration:1000,Color:987654}

Now the final last thing I am going to talk about this command isssssss!!!!!!

The actual....particle itself...

Lets move on shall we?!

Now, you CANNOT have the color and the actual particle together...or can you? anyway you can try to figure that out but besides that, just example:

/summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ {Radius: #,Duration:1000,Particle:WHATEVER PARTICLE OF YOUR CHOOSING}

So I am going to list all the particles you can use in this command:

hugeexplosion
largeexplode
bubble
suspended
depthsuspend
townaura
crit
magicCrit
smoke
mobSpell
spell
instantSpell
note
portal
enchantmenttable
explode

splash
largesmoke
cloud
reddust
snowballpoof
dripWater
dripLava
snowshovel
slime
heart
iconcrack_
tilecrack_

And now the example to top it all off:

/summon AreaEffectCloud ~ ~ ~ {Radius: #,Duration:1000,Particle:cloud}

And that is it! I hope this helps you on your journey to become a great command geek! :D
